NBA Basketball...More History At The Garden...

After Kobe came in and hung 61 on the Knicks Monday night, it was The King's turn Wednesday. Bron's been know for coming up huge in The World's Greatest Arena - he had 50, 10, and 8 boards there last season - and after what Kobe did, you knew something special was bound to happen...And it did. LBJ came through NY and dropped 52 points to go along with, 11 assists, and 10 boards to lead the Cavs to a 107-102 win over the Knicks. His 52 is the most points ever scored in a triple-double since the ABA/NBA merger of '76-'77, surpassing Larry Bird's record of 49. LeBron and Mike are now the only two players with two 50 point games at MSG. Da boy was going so hard he started cramping up and briefly came out in the fourth quarter.

You know what the argument is now....who had a better game? Kobe or LeBron? The Mamba or the King? KB24 or LBJ23?

Here's what I'll say, because there's really no point in even trying to decide - both performances were outstanding, phenomenal, magnificent, exceptional, etc...you catch my drift.  Kobe's performance was more impressive: He broke the scoring record in 37 minutes and led his team to a blow out win, plain and simple. But LeBron had a better game: He had a triple double in a close game, whereas Kobe didn't have a single rebound.

How bout this for destiny: LEBRON VS. KOBE THIS SUNDAY!!! It'll be an instant classic.

Look who was on tap to "WITNESS"...

Whoopi Goldberg and John Legend were also in attendance.

Other League Highlights: Al Harrington had 39 and 13 rebounds. Dwayne Wade laid 29, 13 dimes, and 7 boards on the Pistons. KB24 had 36, 9, and 5 assists, while Pau Gasol had 31 and 15 boards. Anthony Johnson stepped in for Jameer Nelson in Orlando and had 25. The Magic and Lakers both got W's in spite of their recent loss of key contributors, while the Hornets, without Chris Paul, lost to the Bulls by 14.
