Remember Brandon Jennings? He was the point gurad who had the Gumby haircut in the McDonald's All-American Game, and considered by some to be the best player in the high school Class of 2008?Anyways....instead of attending the University of Arizona, Jennings opted to do something unprecedented. He decided to play Professionally in Europe. Although I'd only seen him play a couple times, I love his game. Obviously since he's overseas, we over here in America haven't heard much, if anything about him, but here's a quick update:
Jennings has played in 9 Euroleague games for Lottomatica Roma, started in 4, and averaged 9 points, 2 boards, and an assist. He's averaged about 20 minutes a game, and has a season high of 14 points. Honestly, I'm not sure if that's good, bad, or expected.
Jennings has become Under Armour's first basketball endorser in the process of being an American ambassador by playing in Europe straight out of high school. What's sick, though, is the "When In Rome" series Under Armour has started, that follows Jennings transition to the game and lifestyle in Europe.
