It looks like Atlanta might be switching into high gear. They had the close game against the Cavs a couple weeks ago, and now they're on a 4-game winning streak, including tonight's 101-87 win over Indiana. Not a lot, but look at the wins: Pistons, Hornets, Jazz, and Pacers. Granted, they've all been at home, but in beating Detroit, N.O., and Utah, they snapped 5, 7, and 12 game losing streaks, respectively. And the Pacers have shown that they can mess around and beat anybody on any given night. Not to mention the fact that Joe Johnson has hit 30 or more in the latter three of those games. It looks like they're ready to get it crackin' but we'll have to wait and see...
Rajon Rondo returned to the Celts starting lineup after missing the previous 2 games due to injury. He had 4 points, 8 boards, and 8 assists on the way to a 102-92 Boston win over Memphis. Leon Powe led the way with 30, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks in place of the injured KG, and Steph had one of his best games since arriving in Boston, providing 9 points and 5 assists off the bench...
The Hornets beat Milwaukee 95-86 for their 9 win in their last 10 behind 30, 9 assists, 6 boards, and 4 steals from from CP3.
