In a game involving the current top 2 teams out west (record-wise at least), the Lakers took care of the Spurs, 102-95. A typical L.A.-San Antonio showdown, both teams played brought their A-game. The Lakers got a great, balanced effort, with each starter getting into double-digits. KB24 and Pau each had 23 to lead the way. With the W, the Lakers clinched their playoff berth. Low-key, they're running away with the West (8 1/2 games up on San Antonio).
The Ginoboli-less Spurs got 25 apiece from Tony Parker and Michael Finley, and 16 and 11 from Timmy D.
The Suns' woes continued at the hand of LBJ who recorded his 3rd straight triple-double. The line: 34 points, 13 assists, 10 boards, 3 blocks, 3 steals...ridiculous. The Cavs also got 30 from MoWill. The Suns losing streak now slides 5. It says a lot about the quality of the Suns' D, that they can have 6 guys score in double figures, but not win the game.
