NBA & NCAA Hoops.....

Pretty dry night on the pro and collegiate hardwoods Tuesday.

NBA...

Just 4 NBA games. Highlights: Mike Bibby hit up the Bulls for 31. Timmy D had 27 and 10, in addition to 26 points for Manu. Paul Millsap had 31 points and 15 boards for Utah who won their 6th straight game in Salt Lake City. The Spurs' D was the first to slow Danny Granger down in weeks - he had 17 points on just 5-15 shooting.

Scores From Around The League...1/20/09

Hawks 105, Bulls 102
Pacers 81, Spurs 99
Kings 99, Nuggets 118
T'Wolves 107, Jazz 112

NCAA...

Just two Top 25 games Tuesday...#2 Duke beat N.C. St. 73-56 in Durham, NC.After going into halftime trailing by 4, the Blue Devils outscored the Wolfpack 51-30 in the second half. Gerald Henderson - The Man - led Duke with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Way to fill up the stat sheet.

In the other Top 25 game, #24 Illinois, who entered the polls for the first time this season beat Ohio St. 67-49 at Assembly Hall. Mike Tisdale led the Illini with 15. The game was also a face-off between former high-school teammates - Evan Turner and Demetri McCamey, who both attended St. Joe's in Westchester, IL. The Illini really keyed in on my man Evan, holding him to just 4 points, although he did grab 10 boards. He'll bounce back.

Also, shout out to Shump who led Georgia Tech with 16 points and 4 steals in their overtime loss to BC.
