NBA Basketball...

The Cavs beat the Jazz in Slat Lake Lake City Saturday night, 102-97. The highlights of the game closely resembled a Youtube video of LeBron James dunks - who finished 14-27, with 33 points, and about half of those baskets were dunks. In addition, James had 14 boards and 9 assists.  The Jazz got 17 and 16 dimes from Deron Williams, as well as 25 points and 15 rebounds from Paul Millsap.

All of the Cavs' pub and credit have gone to King James, and, obviously, it's well deserved. But amidst all of that, we forget about the one person who may be just as important to the Cavs' championship chances this season - Mo Williams. Williams had 25, 4, and 4 against the Jazz. Mo has brought a whole lot mo swagger to the Cavs team, helping take pressure off James - which has translated into better numbers for the King. It doesn't always have to be LeBron creating for himself or getting other's open shots anymore; instead Mo can handle the rock, knock down open jumpers, create his own shot, and set up teammates. Against Utah, for instance, LeBron was on the receiving end of 3 or 4 alley oops from MoWill, something that would not have happened in previous seasons from, say, Eric Snow.

For the first time, LeBron has an actual PLAYER alongside him, save Daniel Gibson. For the first time, he is not the only playmaker on the team. Williams has come in and supplied the Cavs with nearly 17 points and 4 assists, including almost 2 three's per night. Williams confidence has translated into a calmer, more efficient, more dangerous LBJ. And not only could MoWill bring a title to Cleveland, but he may be enough to keep Bron in Cleveland after next season, as well.
