Breaking News: Tony Dungy to Step Down As Colts Coach

Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy, the only African-American coach to win a Super Bowl, is expected to announcement his resignation later today.

In Dungy's 13 seasons as a head coach, including six with Tampa Bay, he's put together a sparkling resume.

He has 148 career wins, including playoffs, and ranks 19th all-time in victories. He's the only black coach to win a Super Bowl, the first coach in league history to reach the postseason in 10 consecutive seasons and the only coach to preside over six straight seasons of 12 wins or more.

Tony Dungy is a class act, and one of the most inspirational spots figures of this era. While he's an excellent coach, as shown by his phenomenal record, it's his off-field actions that make him such a spectacular man. After his son, James, committed suicide, Dungy and his family continued to remain strong - largely due to their devout Christian faith, if which Dungy is a dedicated Evangelist.

I hate to see Dungy go, but it's hard to ask for anything more from such a great person.
