Tiger Tiger Woods Yall!!!

Tiger Woods, who has tried to stay out of politics during his ascent to become one of the world's most famous athletes, has accepted an invitation to speak at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday as part of President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration festivities.
Woods posted a short statement on his Web site to say he would speak at "We Are One," a concert and celebration that will be broadcast live on HBO and feature entertainers such as Beyonce, U2, Stevie Wonder and Garth Brooks, along with appearances by Denzel Washington and Martin Luther King III.
"I am honored that I was invited to this historic event and look forward to participating in Sunday's festivities," Woods said.

The “Tale of Three Cities” will end with the release of the the Zoom LeBron VI Los Angeles edition. The first city in the mix was the Big Apple Zoom LeBron VI and the second was the Miami Zoom LeBron VI both of which have already released exclusively in their respective cities. While all of the city editions has elements of the graffiti pattern, the Los Angeles edition is the only one utilizing it, on the midsole. The rest of the sneaker is a combination of grey nubuck and textured leather on the uppers along with crimson details through out. This final Zoom LeBron VI LA will release exclusively in Los Angeles on January 19th, 2009.
This devilishly sneaky release was Quickstriked at the end of December but hasn’t made an appearance at some retailers until now. Showing up just last week with no more information that what you are reading here, this White/White Premium ‘08 is one of the sickest all white forces to launch in ages! What is most peculiar about this release (besides the fact that the usual suspects didn’t seem to receive it) is that though it is badged as a Premium ‘08, it has cues from the Supreme line up of AF1’s. Note the leather lining, embossed tongue tag and heel tab, and the lacelock.

And here is the Nike Zoom Kobe IV "Carpe Diem"...
These are know as the "Carpe Diem" Kobe IV's. Carpe Diem is Latin for "cease the day", and said to be a phrase Kobe lives by.
The Zoom Kobe IV “Carpe Diem” is available 1/17 at the following (suggested retail $120):
* House of Hoops by Foot Locker – Los Angeles
* House of Hoops by Foot Locker – New York
* House of Hoops by Foot Locker – Chicago
* Niketown LA and Niketown NY
* Foot Locker (select retail locations)
I'm loving these two releases from KB24's signature line.

Trailer For T.I.'s "Road To Redemption"

The retailing of recorded music will take another step toward extinction in early April, when the Virgin Megastore in Times Square closes to make room for Forever 21, a popular chain that sells moderately priced clothing.
Stores that sell prerecorded CDs and DVDs have been done in by the popularity of digitized music that can be downloaded from the Internet onto iPods and MP3 players. But Mr. Wright said that the Times Square store, which has about 60,000 square feet of selling space, is not simply a victim of technological progress.
It has remained “very, very profitable” by shifting its merchandise toward apparel and electronics, including iPods, he said, adding that those two categories accounted for about 25 percent of sales during the holiday shopping season.
“Stores that rely completely on recorded music have a difficult future,” he said, “but we’ve been changing our business quite dramatically.”
But the chain’s owners, two big New York-based real estate development companies, saw greater potential in leasing the prime space to Forever 21.
I've been to New York a few times, and always hit up Virgin with my Pops....damn shame.
