Things We Learned:
- The Big East is ridiculous. 5 teams in the Sweet 16.
- Chi-Town guards are the illest (i.e. Jeremy Pargo, Jerel McNeal, Sherron Collins)
- Travis Walton personifies senior leadership (scored 18, career-high vs. USC).
- James Harden may want to stay another year just to redeem himself from this year's dismal Tourney performance. His Tournament: 2 games. 3-18. 19 points.
- Can't help but feel for Marquette, particularly seniors Dominic James and Lazar Hayward. James returned from a 6-game absence due to a foot-injury, but was clearly nowhere near 100%. He was constantly taken advantage on defense, and did not score. Hayward stepped over the endline to, ending Marquette's chances.
